[01:07] projectchaotix: what do u do if u have jobs that u worked with apparently went out of business
[01:08] projectchaotix: cause most of my resume 2/3 of the jobs i worked at went out of business
[01:08] Chris Peralta: hmm i would still keep them in your job expereiences portion and notate what you’ve accomplished with that company and your primary role
[01:09] Chris Peralta: anything 1 year or above is labeled significant
[01:09] Chris Peralta: anything below 6 mo’s better be an internship or contract
[01:09] Chris Peralta: those can also be considered
[01:09] projectchaotix: yeah all the jobs on my resume is a year and above

[01:11] projectchaotix: I kinda wanna put my state job even though I worked for 7 months but it feels weird put homecare down and the reason leaving is my patient deceased

[01:13] Chris Peralta: remember that in todays world, everyone is measured through skill. the more you have the more you’re marketable
[01:13] Chris Peralta: the more people that will be interested in you and what u can do

[01:16] Chris Peralta: oh than yea put it down
[01:16] projectchaotix: at marriott
[01:18] projectchaotix: yeah my mom worked at marriott doing room service and cleaning rooms and it was no picnic so when I got outta school i went to her job to help her work and got approval from management

[01:19] projectchaotix: did that for 2 years (junior and senior year)
[01:19] Chris Peralta: yea throw it in there
[01:20] projectchaotix: I also threw my college education
[01:21] Chris Peralta: ok
[01:22] projectchaotix: Done got to within a page with 12 font lettering
[01:22] Chris Peralta: nice
[01:22] projectchaotix: is it bad to have a 2 page resume?
[01:22] Chris Peralta: yea try to limit it within a page
[01:23] Chris Peralta: too much can be too confusing
[01:23] Chris Peralta: keep it short and sweet with specific descriptions
[01:23] Chris Peralta: that point out your success’
