Normally I wouldn’t do this but since I gotten messages on yelp saying why I did this and such well people I’m giving you your wish.

If you’re wondering what I’m talking about then read it here on why I did what I did and here’s how it all started while I posted it on yelp.

First off since this is my post and all and also being an former hot toys employee I feel your hatered of this place cause all of the posts makes sense the bad and horrible customer service,the rip off prices espically video games where the prices come from an 2008 video game price guide book and of course the rip off prices of toys in general.

Second off I ADVISE EVERYBODY NOT TO TRADE YOUR VIDEO GAMES HERE CAUSE YOU’LL GET RIPPED OFF LITERALLY! I’ve seen it over and over people trading bunch of games and systems and at the end of it getting only peanuts for it like for example 20 n64 games and system with 2 controllers $25 RIP OFF and sometimes when there’s no cash there’s only store credit and that sucks and you’re better off trading your old video games/systems and such to game world in san jose and the asian guy I know personally gives $5 a game and depending on system from $10-$50 for trade which it’s great and also he’s does trades and hooks people up and such.

Third off and mostly dont trade your used toys here cause all you’ll get is peanuts for them cause the owner jesus will tell u that their aint worth much and all and that’s bs and espically if it’s packaged and not open.If u really wanna get rid of your toys and such and hope to get a decent amount for them then go to TOY SAFARI in ALAMEDA and the owner of the place is which is a lady takes trades on SATURDAYS ONLY!. When u go there to trade you’ll see a piece of paper on the case saying the store gives u 60% in trade in which it’s a great deal and I went there recently to trade toys mostly hulk figures(packaged),transformers(unpacked),hot wheels,godzilla(unpacked) and wrestling figures and got over $330 worth and that’s worth it compare to $40-$50 at most @ hot toys.

Last but not least if you’re wondering where all of the toys from that store come from well almost half of the store of toys come from the flea market and if you’re picky bout the location on where it comes from u should read this. The other half either comes from people trading their toys for money in which i feel bad for the people doing it at all and also comes from toy shows,storage lockers and thrift stores.

Now since u read it I’ll tell you a lot more and I’m sure you’re dying to know what I’m gonna say now.

Now first the reason why I did what I did is because I felt that not only myself but other people that worked for hot toys 1 that I felt got screwed over BIG TIME and of course used them like ragged dolls and most of them when they got payed it was in toys and there’s a clause in the some-what bullshit contract in which both owners agree to pay $5-$7 an hour but most of the time the people like myself and others got paid in toys sad huh. Wait there’s more they pay under the table in which they don’t pay taxes oh boy there’s some trouble coming for u crooks.

Another thing on why I did this was there’s a story about an ex-hot toys employee who literally gave his all working for the store monday thru saturday open to close.The person is a really nice guy by far one of my good friends and whenever the store was making money such and such the owner would take money out of the register and buy stuff in which he needed for the store but when it got time to pay him for the day well this person got payed in toys mostly in which it’s sad but this person literally had to do what he had to do to literally survive.The worst part this person was treated like shit and never got any breaks from when i was there or heard from other people.

What I’m saying is that why go to a toy store to give them your business where the owners treat their employess like garbage and pay their employess like garbage. That’s sending the wrong message and if I was a customer I wouldn’t give them my business for shit.

To end the story I was telling about the ex-hot toys employee the person got a better job and is no longer working 4 peanuts and is doing good.

The Hot Toys 1 owners are backstabbers and I wouldn’t do business with them but that’s my 2 cents and always will be from now on.

That’s was my part of the story on why I did what I did and I hope you realise what your getting yourself into when doing business with crooks.
